Joseph Rocket is the son of a US government engineer John Docket, who works in a secret installation nicknamed S.K.A.T.E Strategic, Knowledgeable, Attack, Tactical, Enforcement. The main project is to design a new set of non powered weapons and a means of transportation without using any petroleum. He designs an armored suit with inline skating accessories for the feet, knees and wrists and is kidnapped for the technology. To rescue his father, Joe adorns the suit and gives chase to the villains and becomes SKATE RANGER and rescues his father.
Joseph Rocket is a young man who has it all, good looks, a skateboarding champion, funny, bright, athletic, and he is the son of a famous engineer John Docket who works for the US government in a secret installation nicknamed S.K.A.T.E which stands for Strategic, Knowledgeable, Attack, Tactical, Enforcement. A secret agency who’s main role is to design a new set of non powered weapons that could be a means of transportation without using any gas, or oil products.
Jake is very close to his dad and comes to visit him quite often at his factory on the grounds of a US military base.
Jake goes to see his dad and is surprised it see him getting into a fight with one of his co-scientists. The fight between the two result in the other man, James, Weston to leave the building and we find out later that he gets fired for his actions regarding the use of the secret skate suit that they were developing as well as other types of suit’s in prototype settings.
Later, when the engineer is working late he is kidnapped and taken away, just as Jake comes in to find his dad being taken away a fight breaks out and Jake is knocked out. When he wakes up he sees that he is alone and his dad has been taken away.
Having a working knowledge of the skate suit, Jake puts it on and takes off after the kidnappers. He leaves the building in dramatic fashion skating down the side of the building and as he chases the car with his dad in it they shoot at him,. He evaded the bullets and overtakes the car and using his new found suit manages to stop the kidnappers from taking his dad away.
Father and son reunited at the crime site, and head back to the lab. After a brief discussion dad decides to go into hiding with his secrets and work at another secret site that just the two of them know about……….
